HoldemPoker.com wasn't in business for very long. We have left the original review here as it was very good. Unfortunately, we don't really reccommend any rooms being operated by SafePay Inc., which includes PokerRoom.com. This is due
to their disgraceful behaviour around Christmas 2006 with their notorious gauranteed tournament that wasn't gauranteed. For more on that see our page on PokerRoom.com
If you really wanted to play in the OnGame network, then we reccommend HollyWoodPoker.com. It's the same software as HoldemPoker.com used to use, provided by OnGame.
They have some nice promotions and tournaments at HollywoodPoker.com - including the chance to play against real hollywood celebrities such as James Woods.
This is our original review. We've left it here for nostalgic reasons, and NOT because we're too lazy to take it down!
Holdem Poker Review
HoldemPoker .com is a new offering from the long established and most respected online poker
room, PokerRoom.com. HoldemPoker shares the same software and network as PokerRoom.com and so
has all the superb graphics, software functions and traffic numbers as PokerRoom.com.
HoldemPokers software is unique and the design is sleek and very functional. The software
utilises high quality 3D graphics to give a more realistic online poker experience, and the
advanced functionality, such as great statistical analysis, and unique hourly win/loss rate
and Big Bets won or lost, add to the players experience.
HoldemPoker .com is an award winning poker site having won the Best Free Play site 2005
at the eGaming Review Awards ceremony. HoldemPoker .com beat off very strong competition
to be awarded Best Free-Play Poker site for 2005 at the prestigious eGaming Review
awards ceremony. HoldemPoker .com was on a shortlist with Bodog, Full Tilt Poker and
Poker Stars. The independent panel of judges highlighted that HoldemPoker is
thoughtfully laid out with easy navigation and impressive educational content.
The official winners report stated that it was ‘A tough decision…but HoldemPoker
